You can order your Designer Cutting Board with four rubber feet which are 3/4" in diameter and 1/2?" high.
Without Feet...
Ordering your cutting board without feet means you have two cutting surfaces. Use one side for meat and the other for vegetables. Or reserve one side for cutting onions and garlic. We stamp our name on the bottom of every cutting board so you can easily tell one side from the other.
With Feet...
The feet provide an excellent grip on all types of counters, and are especially useful on uneven surfaces, like slate and tile. If your cutting board has feet, you can set it down on the counter after washing and be assured that air will dry the bottom of the board—no need to prop it against a vertical surface. Please note: In a pinch you can still cut on the bottom of the board. The feet, of course, do get in the way a bit, but they are out by the corners—there is a large area available in the cutting board‘s center. When you're in this upside-down mode, you can use the mat described below.
Rubber Mat
Whether you order feet or not, we include a rubber mesh mat with every Designer Cutting Board. The mat helps keep the cutting board from sliding while you're cutting and it protects the bottom surface of the board.
